Keynote Speaker: NAR Economist Ken Fears
Ken Fears is an Economist and Manager, Regional Economics for the Research Division of the National Association of REALTORS®. He specializes in regional economic issues and regularly contributes articles on regional industry trends to the National Association of REALTORS®' Real Estate Insights and to the Economic and Market Watch Reports. Ken provides analysis of national and industry economic indicators and comments on their impact to the commercial and residential real estate industries. Ken regularly presents on housing issues to local and state real estate associations and has been interviewed by national and local papers as well as CNN Radio, CBS Radio, and National Public Radio.
Prior to coming to the National Association of REALTORS®, Ken worked at the American Enterprise Institute and the Congressional Budget Office where he provided research and analysis expertise to senior economists in the areas of financial markets, macroeconomics, tax analysis, and the U.S. budget process.
Ken received his B.A. in economics from Syracuse University. Following his undergraduate work, he received a MSc. in economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
